Our internationally acclaimed plant and crop science research focuses on crop plants of global importance.<br/><br/>We have a large multi-national team of scientists covering a wide range of research areas. We have extensive glasshouses, polytunnels and field trial sites. <br/><br/>We investigate molecular mechanisms in plant cells that control important developmental processes. Research using model plants provides insights into genes that control important agronomic traits.
