This will involve studying a wide range of current issues facing the delivery of amputation and prosthetic rehabilitation in a variety of different settings, including:<br/><br/><br/>- adult and children’s services within the NHS and other healthcare organisations<br/><br/><br/>- global issues related to limb loss and access to prosthetic service<br/><br/><br/>- prosthetic componentry and the prosthetic industry<br/><br/><br/>- charity settings across different sectors<br/><br/><br/>- engagement in occupations<br/><br/><br/>- exercise and paralympic sport<br/><br/><br/>- the military<br/><br/><br/>Further information<br/><br/>As well as the academic requirements, we expect you to show a strong understanding of the remit of the programme being in prosthetic rehabilitation (i.e. not general rehabilitation), and a genuine interest in this area.
