With us, you’ll develop your creative ability and advanced technical skills in composition and sound, through practical and theoretical work in music production.

- create music and sound design for film and moving image
- critically evaluate music and sonic art.
Our faculty’s field-leading professional expertise and artistry is unique in its scope across current developments in composition, performance, technologies, music for film, media and interactive arts of all kinds.
You’ll have access to specialist facilities including:
- three professional-standard recording studios
- large range of microphones, synths, instruments and performance technologies
- performance facilities, project studios and practice rooms
- the Music Mac Lab and maker spaces
- the Music Department’s recordings and scores collections.
