It will enable you to develop a comprehensive understanding of advanced computing technologies within industry and academia as well as acquire hands-on experience.<br/><br/>The availability of high speed internet and advancement in data processing, persisting and provisioning technologies along with miniaturization of sensing devices have opened new opportunities to utilise data to obtain a better understand of many application areas. Advanced computing technologies provide a roadmap of technological innovation across science and engineering domains. The MSc Advanced Computing is a specialist postgraduate degree focused on teaching advance topics of internet-of-things, big data and e-health.<br/><br/>Common modules focus on the key themes of advanced computing and on planning, analysing, developing, evaluating, deploying, and managing advanced computing systems and services for modern day organisations and businesses.<br/><br/><strong>Data Labs Scholarships</strong><br/>Our MSc Advanced Computing, MSc Big Data and MSc Artificial Intelligence have been awarded four fully-funded tuition fee scholarships by The Data Lab for the 2023/24 entry. This means that for selected Scottish students, further to successful individual scholarship application, there will be no tuition fees for this course.<br/><br/>To be considered for this scholarship, you should indicate this in your Personal Statement of the online application. Scholarships are competitive and are awarded on a first come, first served basis to applicants who have an offer (conditional or unconditional) for the course and are normally eligible for SAAS funding. SAAS residency eligibility criteria applies.
