<strong>This course provides students with the skills, knowledge and creative development to advance their skills as a film and screen maker. It is designed to encourage focus on the role or part of the industry specific to their ambitions.</strong><br/><br/><strong>Why choose this course?</strong><br/>You will be given the opportunity to develop as a film and screen maker, working with our expert staff on a range of advanced craft skills such as cinematography, editing, lighting, sound, production design and virtual production amongst others. You will also be guided to investigate key and current film and screen trends to better understand the area of the industry you want to work in.<br/><br/>There will be opportunities to collaborate with other students, and you will be encouraged to contact, and work with, contributors (e.g. interviewees, actors) from outside the university. You will also develop your skills as an academic researcher by carrying out research which feeds directly into your film projects.<br/><br/>The course culminates in the Masters Project, where you will be the key creative leader of a film or screen production, taking on a substantive role alongside producing the piece.<br/><br/><strong>Whats unique about this course?</strong><br/>• You will have the opportunity to develop advanced skills that focus on your own ambitions.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• The course provides an opportunity to develop your creative practice, enhance your portfolio of practical work and explore a broad range of film and screen theory.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Our state-of-the-art facilities allow for development and understanding of up to date techniques and trends in the Film and Screen industry.<br/><br/>
