You’ll play your part in improving access to healthcare, wellbeing, social inclusion and quality of life.<br/><br/>BSc(Hons) Children and Young People’s Nursing is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), which means you can register as a children and young people’s nurse with them when you graduate. <br/><br/>Working with a passionate, enthusiastic, skilled and supportive team, your learning will be enriched by the very latest best practice.<br/><br/>About half your time will be spent on placements, and you’ll have access to outstanding facilities including our Skills Simulation Suite (https://www1.uwe.ac.uk/whyuwe/fantasticfacilities/skillssimulationsuite.aspx). <br/><br/>Based at Glenside Campus, you’ll learn alongside other students from other health and social care courses, and develop essential people skills. Theres also the opportunity to develop and apply your skills working abroad.<br/><br/>Childrens nurses are in demand across the UK in a wide range of specialties, so many exciting career paths will be open to you.<br/><br/>You could work in a hospital or in areas such as school nursing, health visiting and childrens community nursing for the NHS, or for the private or voluntary sector.
