Love musical theatre? Want to develop your skills as a performer while learning how to make, shape and tell stories through music? BA (Hons) Musical Theatre at Liverpool Hope University is for creative, curious people who want to do more than simply perform.

You'll develop your skills in acting, singing and dance, exploring how character, music, lyrics and movement come together to create powerful stories. You'll learn how to act through song, make creative choices and bring characters to life, while working with musical theatre repertoire and creating new material of your own.

But this Musical Theatre degree isn't only about performing. You'll explore making musical theatre, developing ideas, collaborating with other artists and discovering how performances are created, from the first idea through to the final audience experience. You'll explore areas such as directing, choreography, songwriting, creative production and audience engagement.

You'll also consider what musical theatre means in a digital world. From digital storytelling and content creation to new ways of connecting with audiences, you'll explore how technology is changing the way stories are made, shared and experienced.
