This degree will enable you to perfect your skills through consulting projects and competitions and help you learn how to critically analyse and create business and marketing solutions for real businesses.

You’ll also have opportunities to connect directly with marketing experts and top-tier global and local brands through our guest lecture series. These networking events are more than just learning opportunities - they often lead to exclusive placement and internship opportunities in London and the UK. In previous years, students have collaborated on live projects with Lush, the Natural History Museum, Next, Greenpeace and renowned marketing agencies like Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, and WPP. Students have also supported 100+ businesses through live consultancy with partners such as Southwark and Lambeth Councils, and impactful partnerships like Grow London Local.

### Module refresh 

We’ve recently revalidated this course to a Bachelor of Science, in place of our previous Bachelor of Arts, due to the level of analytical, evidence-based, and professional skills you’ll develop throughout your time at LSBU. It means you can be confident knowing you’re studying at the forefront of the industry, on a course which is directly informed by professional bodies, such as the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (IOEE), and with the ability to choose your preferred assessment format across modules.

### Exams aren’t for everyone

There are no exams on this course, instead it is assessed 100% by coursework and there is also an opportunity to undertake a placement in London or elsewhere in your third year, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge in the world of work. Over the years, students have supported 100+ businesses through consultancy projects with partners such as Southwark and Lambeth Councils, and impactful partnerships with the likes of Grow London Local.

Our graduates have careers in organisations such as Bloomberg, Network Rail and Octopus Energy, and in senior management, project management, digital marketing specialist, social media marketing and Junior Commercial Analyst roles.

The academics on the BSc (Hons) Business Management (with Marketing)  are all seasoned business and marketing professionals with decades worth of experience between them in London and many other international environments. They will pass on their knowledge, insights and networks directly to you.
