Evidence of linguistic ability ie GCSE grade B or equivalent in any language. GCSE Mathematics grade B A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Successful completion of IB with a total of 35 points including 6, 6, 5 in Higher Level subjects. Evidence of linguistic ability requred.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Successful completion of BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) at Level 3) with overall grades D*DD. Evidence of linguistic ability ie GCSE grade B or equivalent in any language. GCSE Mathematics grade B

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)

Evidence of linguistic ability - Ordinary level grade 03 in a language. If Mathematics is not taken at the Higher Level - Ordinary Level grade 03 is required.
