Accounting is concerned with the provision of economic information for both internal and external organisational stakeholders. The undergraduate Accounting degrees at Queen's are designed primarily for students who intend to enter the accounting profession and as such contain considerable practical content, as well as essential theory in the various specialisations of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Finance.

Normally A-level Spanish grade B or AS-level Spanish grade B or GCSE grade B/6 in another modern language (not GCSE English Language) GCSE Mathematics grade B/6 Note: if the language is studied at a higher level then the grade required at that level must be achieved. A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Successful completion of IB with a total of 34 points including 6, 6, 5 (Spanish) in Higher Level subjects.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Successful completion of BTEC National Extended Diploma (1080 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) at Level 3) with overall grades D* D* D. Normally A-level Spanish grade B or AS-level Spanish grade B or GCSE Spanish grade B or GCSE grade B/6 in another modern language (not GCSE English Language). GCSE Mathematics grade B/6

Leaving Certificate - Higher Level (Ireland) (first awarded in 2017)
