This programme introduces students to the rich and complex histories, theories, and practices of global cinema cultures (particularly from Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, and their diasporas) and allows you to understand and analyse contemporary audiovisual media through the lens of these cinematic cultures.<br/>In addition to expanding students knowledge and enhancing their critical thinking abilities in relation to how film relates to broader socio-political issues, it provides students with training in certain practical skills, such as film curating and film editing, to prepare them for diverse jobs in the film industry.<br/><br/>In an increasingly interconnected world, law is no longer the preserve of single jurisdictions as legal issues are no respecters of national borders. A SOAS Law degree addresses this need by providing our students with an educational experience that equips you with a distinctive set of skills far beyond what is offered by most traditional Law Schools.

Pass Access to Higher Education Diploma with 60 credits overall including at least 45 credits at level 3. A minimum of 30 Level 3 credits must be at Distinction plus a minimum of 15 level 3 credits at either Merit or Distinction. Applicants applying for single hons or joint Law Programmes will also have to undertake the Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT).
