Emphasis is placed on advancing your understanding of the events business environment studying modules such as exploring the “Eventscape”, the event professional and contemporary issues in tourism and events. You will also be able to place this into context through staging a ‘live’ event, including the planning, delivery and evaluation stages via an integrated work-based project. With the placement year option, you will take a year in industry usually based within an organisation in your subject area. These are generally started after the end of your studies in your second year.
