Renewable Energy Engineering (with a Placement Year) Bachelor of Engineering (with Honours) - BEng (Hon)

This course aims to meet the global demand for professional engineers skilled in renewable energy engineering. With affordable and clean energy being one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, there is a pressing need for graduates who can develop, implement, and manage renewable energy systems to responsibly meet energy needs globally. Additionally, this BEng course aims to cater for a range of student aspirations. Some graduates will continue via a corresponding MSc programme and industry experience to full registration as Chartered Engineers. Others will gain a broad grounding for careers in other technical roles with an emphasis on maintaining and managing the application of current and developing technology in a variety of contexts and be eligible with additional industry experience to apply for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.
