The four-year course is designed for students with an interest in both accounting and finance, including management accounting, financial accounting, and corporate finance.<br/><br/>If you want a career at one of the ‘big four’ accounting firms (Deloitte, EY, KPMG or PwC), or see yourself as a finance manager, stockbroker or investment banker, the BSc Accounting and Finance degree will equip you with everything you need.<br/><br/>As an accounting and finance specialist, you will play a fundamental role in the running of a business, big or small. Managing budgets and taxes, financial reporting, and completing audits - all are critical in ensuring that a business or organisation runs as effectively and successfully as possible.<br/><br/>The Foundation Year is taught at The College, located next to the School of Management. Once you complete this year, you will move to the School of Management building for the remainder of your studies. <br/><br/>The years following your Foundation Year are accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
