In your first year you will undertake a ‘Chemical Thinking’ module to prepare you for university study. You will then gain a broad knowledge of organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, theoretical chemistry and biochemistry and project-based practical work in all your core modules.<br/><br/>The BSc Chemistry course will develop both your theoretical and practical skills, including lab classes that incorporate a blended, e-learning pre-lab workshop to ensure that you are confident and competent to work in the labs safely and efficiently.<br/><br/>You will spend the third of your four years on a paid industrial placement, putting your skills into practice and greatly enhancing your employability<br/><br/>Our chemistry graduates are set on course for a range of stimulating opportunities.
