The criminology undergraduate degree will give you the opportunity to examine the many factors involved in criminal behaviour, and how society responds through the criminal justice system.<br/><br/>You will study the most important theories of crime and deviance and their relevance to contemporary criminal justice policy, research, and practice.<br/><br/>Alongside this, you will gain an in-depth knowledge of the structures of the criminal justice system, covering the courts, prison, the probation service, and the police.<br/><br/>Throughout your studies, you will develop excellent research and analytical skills and learn to present your ideas effectively both verbally and in writing.<br/><br/>As part of this programme, you will spend a year abroad between your second and final year, broadening your skills and experience.
