Swansea University’s Medicine MB BCh course offers A Level (or equivalent) students the opportunity to study medicine with a dedicated paid year in employment. You will spend an initial paid year in employment as a health care support worker, followed by the 4 years of your course  spent studying our MB BCh programme at our Singleton Park campus.  

Please note: Applicants must be studying their A-Levels (or equivalent) or have completed their studies within the last two years at the time of application. Applicants must also be a current resident, and have attended secondary school, within one of the following local authority areas: Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion or Pembrokeshire.

Our Medicine degree is designed to reflect the way in which clinicians approach patients, and how patients present to doctors, and will cover a range of topics in clinical medicine, public health, pathology, therapeutics, ethics and psycho-social issues, taught through a spiral curriculum.
