Overview

Our dynamic BA Business Management degree will strengthen your analytical skills and equip you with the tools to lead in today’s AI- and sustainability-driven business world. You’ll build a strong understanding of business strategy, grounded in product performance, process efficiency, and effective team building, preparing you for a successful career.

At UEA, we focus on data-based decision making. Youll learn how to ask the right questions and how to find unbiased answers. Youll develop quantitative and qualitative skills, learning how to deal with numbers and accounts, and how to interpret statistics, as well as how to manage people and resources. You’ll also gain experience collaborating with others and presenting your findings and ideas — excellent preparation for a future career where you’ll not only solve problems but also need to clearly communicate and justify your solutions.

Our programme is highly flexible. After acquiring a solid foundation in the first year, you’ll have the opportunity to specialise in the areas of business that interest you most. There’s a great choice of subjects to focus, which range from marketing to talent development, to finance, and from project management to law or entrepreneurship and many more. This course will deepen your understanding of how businesses operate, while at the same time as allowing you to keep your options open, until you choose where to focus.

Norwich Business School is a friendly and supportive school, with a lively and international cohort. Youre in a region that’s safe and welcoming, with a thriving business innovation and enterprise community. All our teaching is informed by our world-leading research and real-world business experience. That means you’ll gain knowledge of the latest issues and debates facing industry and employers. We also believe that anyone can become a great manager, no matter what their background is, so our course is inclusive and welcoming to all. Our business school was ranked 14th overall for research quality in Business and Management Studies in the Times Higher Education REF 2021 Analysis.

After graduation, you’ll be equipped with the skills to join any business, large or small. You might choose to work in marketing for a multinational corporation, join the capital investment team of a manufacturing firm, or bring your energy to the human resources department of a dynamic start-up. You could even decide to launch your own business. Whatever path you choose, you’ll graduate with the confidence and capability to make a real impact.

Disclaimer

Course details are subject to change.
