You’ll study core subjects such as software development, hardware systems, and business-oriented computing, gaining the skills needed to thrive in a wide range of technology-driven careers.<br/><br/>The course is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to tailor your studies to suit your interests and career goals. You can choose to specialise in areas such as information systems, preparing you for roles in software development, IT consultancy, and technical support.<br/><br/>To help you gain real-world experience, this degree can be taken in sandwich mode, giving you the opportunity to spend a year working in industry before your final year. These paid placements typically last between 9–12 months and are an excellent way to build your professional skills and boost your employability. Short-term school or college placements are also available for students interested in teaching.<br/><br/>Graduates from this course have gone on to work with organisations such as Oracle, Kent Connects, and the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development.
