We have responded to calls from students and industry alike to change the way we do economics: we are a national leader in applied real-world economics that learns from history and embraces diversity.<br/><br/>Our BSc Economics degree gives students the possibility after first year of specialising in finance, ESG (environmental, social and governance issues), or the economics of public policy.<br/><br/>In your time with us you will gain the knowledge and skills essential for either graduate employment or post-graduate study. Our graduates have pursued successful careers in industry, finance, the civil service, NGOs, research and education.<br/><br/><strong>Looking for Direct Entry? We welcome direct applications from students wishing to transfer with prior degree level study. Please note that accreditation and modules available to study will depend on an individual’s previous level of study.</strong><br/><br/><strong>What you should know about this course:</strong><br/>• Enhance your data-handling skills through the use of Bloomberg terminals, trading simulation platforms, programming languages.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• After first year, choose to pursue a pathway in finance, public policy or ESG issues.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Study at our beautiful Greenwich campus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, situated in London.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Our graduates have pursued successful careers in industry, finance, the civil service, NGOs, research and education.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Take modules which prepare you to take certifications including the CFA Climate and Investing and the CFA ESG Investing.<br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>Looking to transfer from another university?</strong><br/><br/>We welcome applications from students wishing to transfer into year 2 or 3 with prior degree level study from another institution.<br/>Please note that the information on this page is for the full-time 3-year course and any accreditation(s) listed will only be available for eligible students completing the full course.
