<strong>Study our midwifery degree at our Avery Hill Campus in southeast London or our Medway Campus in Kent for rewarding careers supporting women and their families through childbirth.</strong><br/><br/>Midwives are the lead professionals at all straightforward births, whether this takes place at home, a birth centre or in hospital.<br/><br/>Whilst on the programme, you will acquire the knowledge and skills you need to meet the needs of women and babies. This will include childbirth in the delivery suite, birth centres and home environments. You will learn accountability for the role you play in their lives, both during and after pregnancy. Care will be based on best available evidence and reflect contemporary knowledge, practice, research and technology.<br/><br/>Our midwifery degree prepares you for the role and responsibilities of a registered midwife. Youll be working in the NHS serving the women and families of south-east London and Kent.<br/><br/>We continually develop new courses to reflect the needs of students, employers, and professional bodies.<br/><br/><strong>What you should know about this course:</strong><br/><br/><br/>• Apply to be taught at either in the heart of Kent at our Medway Campus or our Avery Hill Campus in Eltham, south-east London.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Midwifery - 2nd in London for satisfied with teaching (Guardian League Tables 2025).<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Nursing and Midwifery - joint 2nd in London for student satisfaction (Complete University Guide League Tables 2025).<br/><br/><br/><br/>• State-of-the-art simulation facilities where you will be able to practice your acquired skills such as examination of the new-born infant.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• You will be allocated a place in a NHS trust for the three-year course.<br/><br/>
