You’ll enrich this learning and broaden your life experience with an integrated Study Year Abroad. As you develop your business acumen, you will explore a foreign language of your choice. You can start as a beginner in whatever language you choose – the appropriate level of learning and support will be provided. If you’re at an intermediate level, your learning will be tailored to your level of understanding.

Explore international business
• You’ll study a variety of topics related to international business, including:

- firms in the global economy

- international corporate strategy

- comparative international management

- cross-cultural marketing

- international human resource management.

You will also study the core disciplines that underpin business – including economics, psychology and sociology – and examine concepts such as:
- organisational behaviour

- operations

- entrepreneurship

- data analytics

- accounting.

Your language options
In each year of study, you will take one 20-credit module in your chosen language and one 20-credit culture module. Placements are also available in a language-rich environment in the UK, which is a setting where your chosen language is largely spoken.
