Community health focuses on interventions that health care workers provide outside of health care establishments. Community Health Workers use strong interpersonal skills to improve access and early signposting in communities.<br/><br/>This Level 4 course is ideal for students looking to enhance their qualifications and those looking to progress onto other health related degree programmes such as health & social care, nursing, midwifery and other allied health professions<br/><br/>Students will develop an understanding of health and wellbeing, legal and ethical aspects that govern the way we work in health, and an understanding of human health and disease. The Cert HE in Community Health and Wellbeing also offers the opportunity to experience University life, develop strong study skills for higher education, and begin to engage in professional development for health careers.<br/><br/>An Enhanced DBS check is required for this course.
