Established in 1893, Writtle University College (WUC) has been producing leaders in the land-based industries and organisations for more than 120 years, making it one of the older specialist institutions in the U.K.<br/><br/>Writtle University College' courses range a number of specialist areas at Undergraduate level including Sport and Exercise Science and Exercise Psychology, Equine, Animal Science & Management, Veterinary Physiotherapy, Canine Therapy, Conservation, Agriculture and Horticulture.<br/><br/>Writtle has also been ranked top University provider in the East of England for overall student satisfaction with teaching, reflecting their commitment to the student experience.<br/><br/>We are pleased to confirm that Writtle University College and ARU (Anglia Ruskin University) are joining together. The merger will happen during the 23/24 academic year. Writtle's full range of Higher and Further Education courses will continue to be delivered on site at the Writtle campus, enhanced by resources available at nearby ARU. If you are starting your course in September 2024, your degree will be awarded by ARU.

Tuition Fees, Scholarships and Bursaries

Tuition Fees
Home UK undergraduate students will not have to pay tuition fees up-front for any year of study. The Government provide Home UK students with tuition fee loans which are paid directly to Writtle. Students only begin to repay this after graduation and once they are earning more than the threshold, which is currently £27,295. See their website for more information.
