Abertay University

Did not attend I stay at home we can access to do much equipment. As a jewellery student we have a fantastic space and expensive kit The uni is forward thinking. We are given many tutorials on important techniques by a set of exceptional lecturers who are brilliant makers in their own right. Dundee is a small city, before lockdown there were a lot of great clubs, bars and eateries with lots of involving activities like water sports at the city quey

My uni options were Abertay, Dundee and Stirling. Even though Abertay wasn't the best in the tables, I chose to go there and it is the best choice I made! I think the lecturers are brilliant and gave us some really interesting lectures. The lecturers usually get back to you the same day if you need help and there are loads of computers on campus and in the library. There's a good mix of people there, as there are a lot of international students, as well as people from here. This uni is brilliant if you want somewhere modern with good facilities, as they have a gym, a good cheap union and a range of really interesting courses. Student services are the best here from what I saw!

Was great. Lots of fun, had lots of cool shirt nights and themed nights. Went on lots of nights out and met heaps of amazing people about❤️Definitely recommend abertay and Dundee to everyone who's there!! I liked living in halls. It got a bit messy from time to time but those were the people who became your best friends. Easy life, and always someone there for you to spend time with or study or partyyyyy I always loved going to the library as a book is so much better then online reading. The lib was fab and very big. Classrooms are big enough for big lectures and seminars, met lots of great people. Had good debates. Societies are also great. Lots of fun on the dance team, practices every week!! I like how I enjoy what I'm doing, learning things like corporate law opened my eyes to what I want to do in the future. I like how they always encourage debate in classes too. There are many nice cafes out in dundee for during the day, such as the Bach which I love going to with my friends and absolutely love the nightlife. One of the best in scotland- would recommend the union x

There was so much to chose from, gave me a great insight into what I would be expecting since I had came from college. There were careers fairs, and also meeting some of the potential lecturers I would have. I don't stay in student accommodation There were tours or the library which was pretty big, there are areas to eat, a cafe, quiet floor and floors where you can socialise They always made sure that I felt comfortable and tried to explain things the best they could, some lecturers would go up and beyond and help you out over the weekend by emails The city life is really good, there are so many pubs and restaurants to choose from and the shopping is good too. The night life is good too and you are never to far away from a nice quiet place

My university experience has been amazing at abertay, I study ethical hacking and am really impressed with the high quality lectures the staff give

My university experience has been amazing, the friends that I have made will last a lifetime and my constantly encouraging lecturers and such a bonus it makes doing the research and hard work all worthwhile, I can't thank them enough.

Very good lecturers always willing to help in times of news especially stress management when approaching deadlines. Modern architecture, good positive vibes and positive learning environment. A very good university to study in to help with future prospects

Amazing. There's always someone to help on campus, new campaigns running, work experiences available, student roles to pick and become more involved in the university life! The best decision of my life.
