Studying a Modern Language with Philosophy, Ethics and Religion will equip you with knowledge, language and transferable skills valued by employers in a global workplace. Level 3 qualifications can also be considered in conjunction with another qualification in a relevant Modern Language (e.g. A level or IB Higher). No Modern Language required for language-beginners' route. For those seeking to study Chinese, a demonstrable interest, but no prior knowledge required.

Scottish Higher

Minimum of 5 Scottish Highers - some subject specific grades/Advanced Highers may be required.

Access to HE Diploma

Pass required. (Can be considered in conjunction with A level or IB Higher in relevant modern language.)

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme

Pass required. Including grade H5 in relevant modern language. (No modern language required for language-beginners' pathway.)

Extended Project

We will accept this qualification in conjunction with other level 3 qualifications.
