Specialist facilities
You'll study in our multimillion-pound Verena Holmes building with direct access to four extensive computing labs equipped with up-to-date technology, virtual reality facilities, and a makerspace where you can collaborate on projects with other students. You’ll gain real-world experience through projects provided by companies across the region. We are one of a few universities that follow the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) approach to problem solve computing issues. Developed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, it enables you to learn in a practical, hands-on way to find creative solutions to challenges faced by industry.
