The degree enables you to develop knowledge and skills that are essential for a career in the media, marketing and communications industries.<br/><br/>From becoming a researcher or policy maker, to working as a content creator for an organisation or charity, to being your own boss as a media owner or freelance journalist, this degree works with you to draw upon your own interests, empowering you to become a specialist in your chosen field. This could include the fields of sport, music, film, TV, gaming, social media, or science to name just a few.<br/><br/>The second-year placement and related optional modules, as well as collaborative projects and real-world simulations, are embedded throughout the degree to ensure that you will gain invaluable work experience and opportunities to develop your entrepreneurial competencies.<br/><br/>As an Adobe Creative Campus, you will have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Express software, as well as other excellent on-site facilities such as our podcasting studio and media suite. Upon completion, not only will you have a degree certificate and an abundance of invaluable work-based experiences, but you will also have a digital portfolio of work to show to future employers.
