You will learn to advise and represent a range of clients, with opportunities to specialise through elective modules and complete a practice-focused article or clinical legal education project.
Teaching combines face-to-face sessions in small groups with extensive online learning materials. You will be taught by experienced legal practitioners who are also trained teachers and have access to specialist facilities, wellbeing support, mooting and real-world legal experience through the LawIRL programme.
From the point you accept your offer, our Pupillage Advice Service provides access to networking opportunities, guidance from staff and practitioners, application support and mock interviews.
The programme is primarily designed for those seeking to qualify as a barrister in England and Wales, although the knowledge and professional skills developed are valuable in many careers. Its Vocational Component is accredited by the Bar Standards Board. Subject to completing the required Inns qualifying sessions, graduates can meet the vocational training requirements for Call to the Bar.
Available awards include an LLM, Postgraduate Diploma, or Postgraduate Diploma with Electives.
