Undertaking a placement year could also count towards the experience requirement for a professional engineering qualification. In recent years Electrical and Electronic Engineering students have been able to obtain placements at leading companies within their chosen field such as TfL, Nissan, Gamma, G2 Energy, Interserve, AECOM and Network Rail.<br/><br/>This degree provides a solid foundation for people wishing to pursue a career in electrical engineering, communications, control systems, robotics or sensor systems.
