Previous students worked on Shell Eco Marathon and Formula Student vehicle development.<br/><br/><br/>- <strong>Contemporary facilities:</strong> design and manufacture your own designs using high-performance labs, full-motion vehicle simulators, VR Power wall, composites laboratory wind tunnels, engine dynamometers and 3D immersive tech for advanced prototyping and testing in our High-Performance Engineering Centre and Beatrice Shilling Building.<br/><br/><br/>- <strong>Master of Engineering (MEng) advanced pathway:</strong> You can join the MEng in two ways:<br/><br/><br/>1.Direct entry: apply straight onto the MEng if you meet the higher entry requirements.<br/>2.Transfer during your studies: if you start on the BEng and meet the progression criteria, you may be able to transfer onto the MEng later in your course.<br/>This flexibility means motivated students can progress to the full masters level qualification.<br/>- <strong>Industry connections</strong>: located at the heart of the UK automotive industry, benefit from strong links with leading automotive and engineering manufacturers and suppliers. Overall pass in IB including at least 15 points from three HL subjects one of which must be Maths with a minimum of 5 points
Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

BTEC in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or similar, to include a Distinction in the 'Further Engineering Mathematics' unit 28, or 8, or Calculus To Solve Engineering Problems Unit 7, or DM in BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Engineering plus Grade B from one A level in either Mathematics or Physics. Does not include BTECs with maintenance or technology in the title.
