Accounting and finance sit at the heart of business decision-making. This course helps you build practical knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, regulation, corporate finance and digital finance, with a focus on applying these skills in business settings.
This course explores how financial information is recorded, reported, analysed and used to support business performance and decision-making.
You’ll study accounting and finance from practical, commercial and regulatory perspectives, covering areas such as financial markets, economics, business law, financial statements, budgeting, corporate finance, international financial reporting, governance, risk, taxation, compliance, assurance, FinTech and strategic performance management.
Through case studies, reports, presentations, practical financial tasks and a research project, you’ll develop accounting, analytical, problem-solving and professional communication skills relevant to organisations across private, public, charitable and financial services sectors.
