Employability is embedded throughout our Business Management with Entrepreneurship course. So whether you want to launch your own business or change an existing organisation, this programme will help you prepare for your career after university. You’ll be developing your entrepreneurial and creative skills, and applying them to real-world situations.
Building enterprise is seen as one of the most effective ways to realise individual promise and spur the economy. Entrepreneurial minds are constantly refining ways to produce and deliver goods and services, develop new products and services, or indeed create new industries. Preliminary research shows how vital entrepreneurial thinking is to this process, driving our national prosperity.
Learn from lecturers with industry experience and get hands-on with the realities of business and entrepreneurship. You’ll build your knowledge across key areas of business while developing the practical skills, confidence and commercial thinking to turn ideas into action.
In the New Venture Creation module, you’ll take your idea further by creating a viable new business for a specific market. You’ll then pitch your venture to a panel of staff, experienced entrepreneurs and potential investors, giving you the chance to put your ideas and presentation skills to the test.
You’ll also work on live consultancy projects where you’ll work with companies as a consultant. It’s a chance to get a feel for the role, tackle business problems and build skills you can take into your career.
