Course Overview - Mathematical, Statistical and Actuarial Sciences Bachelor of Science (with Honours) - BSc (Hons)
This degree combines aspects of Mathematics and Actuarial Science to provide specialist actuarial and statistical skills as well as a wide-ranging approach to other areas of advanced mathematics. Year 1 comprises core topics in algebra, calculus, statistics etc. In Year 2 topics in actuarial science are introduced. In 3rd & 4th year students choose the combination of courses which best reflects their interests. Up to seven actuarial professional exemptions may be obtained by a good performance.

in a relevant subject (including sufficient Mathematics) for entry to Year 1. For entry to Year 2: DDD in a relevant subject (including sufficient Mathematics).

We accept Foundation Apprenticeships in combination with other qualifications such as SQA Highers and Advanced Highers.
