Secondary Education
The accommodation is not applicable to me as I did not stay there but I have looked at the booklet and they look really good!
IOE is based on londons west end so there is lots to do and see, London is such a fantastic cityso you'll never get board here.
The uni's facilities are next to none! they are state of the art with brilliant computers throughout the uni.
There are loads of clubs and societies to choose from including chess and sports.
Primary Education
Just make sure you prepare to be independent in your learning and organisation. I am originally from Luxembourg and I really miss it there. The uni facilities and city life in London aren't aesthetically pleasing, but it does the job.
I am part of the uni gym, but I don't really want to join any societies. I am hoping that after I graduate in the UK, I will get a job.
It's more likely for me to get a job in the UK than back in Luxembourg, as there are only 3 international schools that I could actually work in if I were to go back, I just need to make sure I do a lot of relevant work experience (which I would recommend everyone to do). I would also recommend students thinking of studying at this uni and doing a PGCE to talk to previous students.
Quality of Teaching is outstanding
IOE really is the best for teacher training and I highly recommend for anyone looking to study around education.
I wish I studied in Luxe
I am originally from Luxembourg and I wish I studied there instead. The uni facilities and city life in London aren't aesthetically pleasing. None of the societies appeal to me, so I have only joined the gym.

Philosophy of Education student
I don't think they are really well planned, and accommodation and general living is really expensive. I would really rate clubs and societies well, as there isn't much advertised. Before you apply for uni, make sure you know what you want.
Good SU and Cheap Drinks
The best bit of the Uni is the SU, because drinks are really cheap. I wouldn't advise people to do a PGCE at IOE as it is really stressful, and some of my friends are without placement tutors or even placements themselves which is what a uni should provide in my eyes.
A little tip from me for anyone wanting to do a PGCE is be confident in your interview. I hope this helps.
