Our industry-informed Data Science BSc equips you with the skills to analyse complex data, uncover insights and communicate findings that shape decisions across a wide range of industries. You will build a strong foundation in maths, statistics and programming, before developing expertise in data analysis, machine learning and artificial intelligence, alongside data visualisation and communication skills.

The programme combines theory with practical experience using real datasets and tools used in industry. You will explore areas such as cloud computing, databases and advanced AI, and learn to design and implement data-led solutions. In your final year, you will complete an independent project, applying your knowledge to a practical problem and showcasing your creativity, technical expertise and ability to deliver impactful insights.

From dedicated professional development sessions and industry guest lectures to tailored careers support, employability is embedded throughout your studies. The programme also includes the option to enhance your experience through either a flexible-short or year-long industry placement.
