Build the clinical expertise, compassion, and skills to lead and deliver person-centred care.</strong><br/><br/>From hospitals and emergency care to community services and specialist clinics, nurses help people when they need it most.<br/><br/>On this adult nursing degree, you’ll develop the confidence, resilience, and practical skills to care for adults across a wide range of healthcare settings. You’ll learn how to assess patient needs, make informed decisions under pressure, communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and deliver compassionate, person-centred care in fast-paced environments.<br/><br/>You’ll connect theory to practice through practical skills sessions in our Clinical Skills Suite facilities, immersive simulations, and hands-on placements. Youll spend 50% of your course on placement, where you’ll gain valuable experience in hospitals, community settings, GP practices, specialist services, and more.<br/><br/>As part of this nursing course, you’ll:<br/>• Develop practical nursing skills in specialist facilities and simulated healthcare environments<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Have access to hands-on placements with our extensive links throughout Yorkshire, including Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and Leeds Community Healthcare Trust<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Build confidence in assessing, planning, and delivering safe, evidence-based care<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Explore physical health, long-term conditions, wellbeing, and patient-centred care<br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>ACCREDITATIONS</strong><br/>Approved by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), this course maps your learning to the professional standards required to become a registered adult nurse.
