Graphic Design (with Foundation Year) Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) - BA (Hons)

This is a four year degree taught at our Creative Campus. The Foundation Year aims to develop your skills so that after a year, you will be equipped with the necessary skills needed for studying the full BA Hons degree programme.

Graphic Design BA (Hons) at Liverpool Hope University is designed for creative thinkers who want to turn ideas into impactful visual communication. Through contemporary graphic design projects that mirror real-world industry practice, you’ll develop skills in branding, rebranding, design for print, art direction, motion graphics, illustration, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design. 

Studying in a studio-based environment, you’ll learn through hands-on projects, creative problem-solving and close collaboration with experienced designers and practitioners. Small-group teaching and personalised tutor support help you build confidence, develop your unique creative voice and prepare for a successful career in the design industry. 

Graphic Design at Liverpool Hope offers opportunities to develop industry-standard digital skills and gain Adobe Certified Professional accreditation, helping your CV stand out to employers. You’ll also explore emerging design practices, including the role of AI in the creative process, ensuring your skills remain relevant in a rapidly evolving creative sector.
