BA (Hons) Photography has a significant history of developing and supporting contemporary, professional and creative practices, and approaches the photographic image today as an infinitely varied way of seeing, thinking and making in the world. Beginning from a broad base of analogue and digital photographic skills, this course will enable you to establish your own creative identity. You’ll be equipped with opportunities to experiment with new technologies and encounter cutting-edge ideas about photography’s future directions. You’ll be part of a dynamic and fast-paced creative environment. Participating in collaborative, sustainable and public-facing projects, that consider the social value of photography, you’ll develop a wide range of versatile skills and a confidence in developing a creative identity.<br/><br/>Youll have the opportunity to discover and push the boundaries of current practices and approaches, intersecting with students in the School of Digital Arts (SODA) and other departments. You’ll discover how photography can be used to experiment, ask questions and tell powerful stories in local, national and global contexts.
