Northeastern's opportunities

(5)·By Ella B·International Relations· Feb 2025
Northeastern is a university focused on pushing its students far once they leave the school's walls. There is a strong focus on career and post-grad life, which requires a student ready to be mature and focused. But despite the seriousness of the pathway, the social life is rich and immersed within the city it is in. The London campus requires quick friendships to be able to explore and take advantage of the city's social life since social life isn't centered on the campus, but it is not a hard task. Students here are very open-minded. In the sense of making new friends and in exploring the world and open-minded in hearing different perspectives (many international students with how many global campuses Northeastern has).

Amazing!!!

(5)·By Tasneem T·Finance· Feb 2025
Studying at NU London has been an incredible experience, combining academic excellence with professional and personal growth. Its central location makes networking easy, providing direct access to industry leaders from firms like McKinsey, PwC, and Goldman Sachs. The exposure to real-world finance and consulting is unmatched.

The university offers a strong support system and endless extracurricular opportunities. I’ve joined multiple clubs, taken leadership roles, and even co-founded a Consulting Society, bringing in guest speakers from top companies. London itself is a vibrant city that fosters independence, cultural exposure, and continuous learning. NU London truly sets students up for success, both academically and professionally.

NU London Creates the Best

(5)·By Annika B·Psychology· Feb 2025
NU London creates the next generation of great thinkers. From the expansive support across all disciplines, along with the encouragement to take courses outside of your designed study area, & global engagement, NU London is a renown university for a reason. The campus is lively & buzzing with motivated & like-minded students, which is motivating & encouraging for students. Socially, there are several events run by the student union & residence life, making it super easy for new students to connect with others, & with their community. The social life outside of school is also great, given the location. Centrally located, while also tucked away, ensuring safety for their students, encourages students to get out & explore their surroundings in such a bustling city. NU London is a fantastic school, & I would strongly encourage anyone looking to be a great thinker of tomorrow to consider applying here.

Small classes, excellent lecturers, and great value for money. Work experience opportunities are available, along with incredible student wellbeing and academic support. I feel very supported at NUL, everything I expected and more.

Best place for the motivated

(4.5)·By Andrea A·Law· Jun 2024
The course is designed for high achievers, so if you're looking to blend in with the crowd, this is not the place for you. Similarly, with extracurricular activities, they offer numerous opportunities to become a student leader and pursue your interests. However, you cannot simply settle for a minor role; you must be motivated as the University does not provide financial support or a large student body to assist you. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and believe that nowhere else could have prepared me as effectively for an exceptional future.

Northeastern London review

(4.5)·By Kacey m·Law· Jun 2023
Excellent lectures that are enticing and absorbable. Great facilities for studying in groups or alone, specifically the silent study area.
I really appreciate the tutorials where you can receive feedback on your essays or just a general chat about the course - it gives students a chance to check in with their lecturers on a 1-1 basis.
Overall i have loved my first year at Northeastern university London.

Highly recommend

(4.3)·By Euan W·Law· Jun 2023
NU London is the perfect size, it is small by design meaning you are a name, not a number. The class sizes are perfect for starting a debate or asking questions without fear of judgment.
The amount of opportunities that have been provided to me by the University is something I thought would never happen. Here at NU London, I believe I am fulfilling my potential for once in my life.
Amazing University, with an amazing work-life balance aided by the excellent support of lectures and career officers.

Would highly recommend it!!!

NU London 3 Year Review

(4)·By Piranas J·History· Feb 2025
My experience at Northeastern University London has been largely positive, with a few drawbacks. The accommodation situation is not the best, as the university-allocated housing is quite expensive, making affordability a challenge for many students. However, the academic experience more than makes up for it, with a varied and incredibly interesting course selection that is both unique and intellectually stimulating. The facilities are excellent, providing top-tier study spaces and digital resources that create a great learning environment. Social life at NU London is also enjoyable, with plenty of opportunities to engage in different activities, from societies to cultural events, making it easy to meet new people and explore the city. While the cost of accommodation is a downside, the combination of high-quality education, modern facilities, and an active social scene makes NU London a great place to study.

Great Teaching, Bad Admin

(4)·By Alistair B·Philosophy· Jun 2024
My impression of the university is that the teaching is fantastic. My professors are great and there are a lot of opportunities for 1-1 help, which is rare, especially at a place with such high caliber teaching. The admin at the university is quite bad though. Timetabling, student support, and registry are specifically quite slow, though I believe it is because they are small, overworked teams as opposed to incompetent people. They respond quite slowly and put out exam dates with very little time to prepare. I usually have great experiences with the finance and academic support teams, however. I also like the opportunities for interaction with staff through the student ambassador scheme, as it’s great for networking. The social is great as well, it’s a small uni and classes have a family vibe at this point.

Nice University!

(4)·By Rasika G·Economics· Jun 2023
Northeastern University London is unique compared to other universities in London. It has smaller class sizes which I prefer because it allows me to fully understand the content by being able to ask lecturers questions. Furthermore, the fact the university is small allows for socialising to be easier among students which has allowed me to make many different friends. The university campus itself is very modern and overall the atmosphere created is really nice. I really enjoy the space.
