The language has been spoken for over 2,000 years and boasts a vast early literature of world significance. Including grade B in Irish and see below for Spanish options Post A-level Spanish ABB including A-level Spanish Note: for applicants who have not studied A-level Spanish then AS-level Spanish grade B would be acceptable in lieu of A-level Spanish. Beginners Spanish ABB + GCSE Spanish grade B/6 or GCSE grade B/6 in another modern language (not GCSE English Language). Note: If the language is studied at a higher level then the grade required at that level must be achieved. The Beginners' option is not available to those who have studied A-level or AS-level Spanish. A-level General Studies and Critical Thinking are normally excluded from offers. However, the grade achieved may be taken into account when results are published in August and may be used in a tie-break situation.
