Our BA Management and Creative Arts programme offers a unique opportunity to combine key elements of business management with deep cultural insight and humanities knowledge. <br/><br/>You will develop both the theoretical foundations and practical skills needed to succeed in diverse sectors of the global economy, including creative industries, cultural and educational sectors, media, publishing and marketing. <br/><br/>This flexible interdisciplinary degree is ideal for students pursuing business careers with a global outlook and for humanities students looking to enhance their academic interests with management expertise. You will be equipped to take on leadership roles across different cultural contexts, including managing multinational offices in Shanghai, Mumbai and Nairobi. <br/><br/>This innovative programme reflects SOAS’ distinctive approach, blending business and humanities to prepare graduates to lead with cultural intelligence and awareness in a rapidly changing global economy. <br/><br/>The Creative Arts component introduces students to the visual, performing, and musical arts, as well as the wider cultural industries across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Students explore topics such as arts management, cultural diplomacy, heritage preservation, and creative entrepreneurship, gaining a global perspective on the cultural sector. With practical training in curation, project management, and consultancy, this component provides students with hands-on experience relevant to careers in the arts and cultural industries.
