This programme provides students with a strong scientific grounding in management science alongside optional specialist knowledge of business and management in Asian and Middle East and North African (MENA) regions.The programme aims to provide students with a conceptual understanding of the core principles of management theory, its application to organisations and the ability to apply this knowledge to real issues facing businesses and other organisations.<br/><br/><strong>Professional placements</strong><br/>A professional placement is a great first step to getting necessary work experience and securing the career you want. <br/><br/>During your third year, you will work with a business or organisation and apply the knowledge youve learnt on your course in the workplace. You’ll develop skills like planning, problem-solving, decision making and project management, while getting first-hand experience on how a professional organisation works.<br/><br/>Placement opportunities are organised by the applicant. If a placement is not found, applicants will be transferred onto the standard programme of study.
