Designed in collaboration with industry, the course combines artistic creativity with technical expertise to prepare you for a career in games animation. From your first year, you'll learn through practical, project-based teaching using industry-standard software and workflows. As you progress, you'll refine your animation skills, collaborate with students from across the Staffordshire Games Institute in simulated studio environments, and build a professional portfolio that showcases your creativity and technical ability.
Whether you aspire to become a gameplay animator, technical animator, motion capture specialist or cinematic artist, you'll graduate with the knowledge, experience and portfolio needed to succeed in the games industry and beyond.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Scottish Higher
Achieve a minimum of 112 tariff points achieved from either five Highers or a combination of two Highers offered with two Advanced Highers. Where only Highers have been taken a minimum of (CCCCC) is required.
Access to HE Diploma
Pass Access to HE Diploma with a minimum of 80 UCAS points.
T Level
Eligible T Level applications will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of P (A*-C) or Higher Pass as a condition of offer.
