American Studies and History with a Year Abroad BA (Hons)

Our American Studies and History degree at Swansea University offers you a unique opportunity to explore the culture, politics and global influence of the United States, alongside the rich and diverse histories of Britain, Europe and the wider world. This interdisciplinary programme addresses some of the most urgent issues of our time, including globalisation, civil rights, and struggles for racial and social justice.<br/><br/>Throughout your studies you will develop a broad and critical understanding of historical and cultural change, while gaining transferable skills highly valued by employers, such as analytical thinking, communication and research expertise.
