You will study modules from a wide range of subject areas, including: Public Law, Tort Law, Contract Law, Equity and Trusts, Land Law, EU Law in Context, and Canadian Constitutional Law.<br/>As your studies progress, you can choose from a wide range of specialised subject areas of law with a range of optional modules to choose from. You will have ample opportunity to develop your professional legal skills by taking optional experiential modules in Advocacy, Clinical Legal Education and Negotiations. <br/><br/>The programme fuses academic rigour with the opportunity to develop a range of essential legal skills, enabling you to progress on to the next stage of training to qualify as a lawyer in England, Wales, and Canada.<br/>The degree incorporates the core legal subjects assessed by the Solicitors Qualification Examination and is accredited by the Bar Standards Board. Subject to a minimum level of attainment in core modules, the degree is also accredited by the Canadian National Committee on Accreditation (NCA), and the Canadian Constitutional Law module provides excellent preparation for the NCA exam.<br/><br/>Based at Swansea University’s School of Law, you will benefit from being part of a lively and diverse research and teaching environment with students at its heart.<br/><br/>Swansea has an established and growing reputation for law teaching and research.
