The social sciences seek answers to the big questions we face as a society and inform the work of governments, businesses and many others. This degree teaches you the tools of the social scientist’s trade. Following an interdisciplinary social science module, you can specialise in criminology, development, economics, geography, philosophy, politics, psychology, religious studies or sociology, or choose a combination of modules. Whatever path you take, you’ll acquire an understanding of the ideas and methods of social scientific inquiry and learn to apply them to real-world social issues.
