This MEng in Sustainable Built Environments, Energy and Resources delivers the knowledge, and develops your skills to understand and interpret sustainability and climate change with an emphasis on the built environment. A solid foundation of technical and digital skills underpins the practical design and evolution of built environments and systems that take account of the needs of environment, economy, and the diverse global society. This will allow you to confidently take on novel sustainability challenges at city and building scales and to produce credible, evidence-based proposals and solutions. This would typically include considerations of occupant needs, climate change, and energy systems as well as encompassing zero carbon design, smart technologies, urban resources, heritage, health, wellbeing, and social inclusivity.
