Its blended learning approach sees the delivery of eight modules in total. Six of these are delivered online and two include a residential week held in Dubai, alongside tutorials, independent study and clinical practice. The residential weeks will make use of Swiss Endo Academys facilities and feature lectures, hands on practicals and small group tutorials. The final two modules are centred around clinical practice write-ups and a research project, respectively.

Lecture based modules will be delivered by international speakers through pre-recorded videos, meaning you can plan your study around your personal and work commitments. There will also be a monthly journal club and monthly tutorials to discuss clinical cases and to allow any pertinent discussions about the lectures being undertaken to take place. There is a strong emphasis on independent learning and clinical practice throughout each of the modules to enable you to develop your competency in endodontic treatments.

The final year will be dedicated to a clinical portfolio, which will see you build up a number of cases and write up these together with reflections. Furthermore, the final year project will enable you to undertake a literature review, together with either a clinical study, a case series, a lab-based study or a systematic review.

**Why study this course?**
- Our School of Dentistry is ranked in the world top 25 for Dentistry (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022, and Shanghai Rankings 2021 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects)

- The programme is led by Dr Josette Camilleri, an internationally renowned clinician and researcher, a Reader in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Birmingham and visiting professor at KU Leuven and the University of Oslo

- The courses blended learning approach allows you to study around your commitments

- You will learn from international experts in endodontics

- Benefit from Swiss Endo Academys facilities during your residential weeks in Dubai
