**Course overview**<br/><br/>Our BA (Hons) Chinese Studies (with Foundation Year) is perfect if you want to study Chinese at degree level but dont have the right qualifications.<br/><br/>On the foundation year, youll be introduced to essential academic skills to help you succeed in higher education. Youll also explore the historical, cultural and linguistic aspects of Chinese studies. No previous knowledge of Chinese is needed.<br/><br/>Youll gain critical skills in research, intercultural communication and global awareness. Alongside this youll explore language, politics and society in depth.<br/><br/>When you successfully complete the foundation year, youll progress onto BA (Hons) Chinese Studies. From Year 1 youll immerse yourself in the Chinese language, culture and society.
